About Saigon Sisters
The Pho was perfection and best Banh Mi in Chicago! Saigon Sisters is a West Loop Vietnamese restaurant led by Chef/Owner Mary Nguyen Aregoni since 2009. We bring fresh Vietnamese flavors to downtown Chicago β think Short rib Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Pork Belly Banh Mi, Bun Cha Hanoi, Branzino Cha Ca β alongside a bar with creative cocktails. Family-owned, woman-led, and built on the recipes we learned from Mama Suu and grew up with in Southeast Asia.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chicago, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

βWas pleasantly surprised by Saigon Sisters! Went in not knowing what to expect, but the food blew me away. The octopus was full of flavor, and the dumplings and short rib pho were delicious. If you appreciate great Vietnamese food with some adventurous dishes on the menu, definitely give this place a try!

After researching the best Asian restaurants in the city, I decided to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday at Saigon Sisters, and it exceeded every expectation. Dan greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived. I had called ahead because my Uber was running late, and he was incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. We started with the chicken steamed dumplings, pork and shrimp fresh spring rolls, and vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls were unbelievably fresh and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the duck bao, which was filled with tender, moist duck, crisp cucumbers, and a perfectly balanced plum sauce. My daughter ordered the Bo Luc Lac, and it was bursting with flavor. The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, and the accompanying salad was one of the freshest we've ever had, topped with an amazingly flavorful dressing. My mother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the stir-fried vegetables, which were cooked perfectly and packed with fresh flavor. To finish our meal, we shared the Dubai chocolate cake and the banana brown butter cake. Both desserts were outstanding and the perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience. A special thank

Food and service were EXCELLENT! My party was absolutely in love with their banh bao, fried rice, and spicy noodles. The pork spring rolls were excellent as well! The owner is very kind and goes around talking to all the guests. I will be returning!

First time visiting and Saigon Sisters went above and beyond anything I was expecting. Itβs a small spot with a lot of class. The service was really attentive and sweet. The food was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp spring rolls with a peanut dipping sauce, the chicken and pork Pad Thai and beef fried riceβ¦ really good! Elevated compared to other places. For dessert, we tried the Dubai Chocolate and Banana Brown Butter Cakeβ¦ really well balanced! They have mocktails that are really good and my regular old fashioned was very tasty. On top of everything, the space is cozy and really nice relaxed atmosphere. Couldnβt recommend it more. I will go back soon. Places like these are a blessing. You would be blessed to visit.
